Arguing if there’s a god, full moon party and skatboarding in Union Square

These are all from last night. The second part is, once again, double exposure games. This time I used the watch at Union Square to give a feeling of the place.

I’m trying something new this time with putting the pictures here. Let me know if you like it or not.

Enjoy!

Unfortuanlty, I was driving most of the way. Here are two noteable scenes from when Tomer was driving.

Talent Show

Last night was the camper talent show. Here are some highlights. I took a ton more, but I think I like these the most.

Abram and Jonny. Shutter speed was 3 seconds, and I took that time to zoom out.

Ally with double exposure.

Same Shtick, with the campers.

Annie Dancing, again, with a long exposure.

Yesterday, the 4th of July

Nadav getting ready for the fireworks.

I think I like this one the most out of all of last night’s fireworks pictures because it captures pretty well not just the fireworks themselves, rather what camp looks like looking at them across from lake gary.

Where the music meets the soul

Yesterday Robin and I took an afternoon off from camp and drove to the town of Vicksburg, MS. We were there once five years ago, and mostly enjoyed the fascinating civil war battle field (well, we are, after all, weird). This time, we didn’t expect much. But then, almost at the very edge of historic downtown Vicksburg, we found probably one of the coolest coffee shops we’ve seen in the states so far. Above the highway 61 coffeehouse, there is a beautiful art gallery. We spent a couple of hours in the gallery talking to Lesley, the owner. In the evening, Daniel, Lesley’s husband and his band were playing at the coffeehouse.

Live music, 500 feet from the banks of the Mississippi river. Great coffee. Amazingly nice people.

Here are a few shots.

On the Way Home

A few Shots I took last night on the way from the office back home.

Corner of Third and 42nd. Didn’t have a tripod, taken from a news stand.

Stairs, moving escalator, and broken escalator. I think it created a cool ‘rivery’ look.
In the 51st Street Station.

Going down the 51st st. Station escalator.

Here comes a train now. Six train arriving at the station.

Men in the window of the six train.

At a parking lot on 86th street.

Our corner deli. You should try their Boston Creme. When we see the deli, we know we’re almost home.
